can you polish solid wood that has been finished with Danish oil??

I make furniture and am finishing nesting tables made of purpleheart and cedar. i used Danish oil and have built-up the finish with 0000steel wool and a buffing pad. All I can get is a satin finish. Is there a way to get a "wet" look???

try a waxing using a bee’s wax it may work or if you can get hold of aunt Daisy’s book there are several receipes in that
