What pub set up a recruiting table upon the US Marines being formed?

I read somewhere that upon the US Marines being formed the first place that a recruiting or enlistment took place was at a pub. Any truth to this?

Tun not "Tun’s" (my poor recollection of the name) Tavern in Philadelphia.

The building does not exist any longer.

    Its not tun’s tavern, its TUN TAVERN. it was in philly, and if it was still there today it would be in a river under a bridge
