I have just purchase a second hand pub pool table and it is in good nick but when you pocket the balls?
they dont come into the storage shoot or come out of the end…. does anyone know where they could be and what i could do to fix it. any help would be much appreciated. ive looked for blueprints on the net but cant find any # HELPME PLEASE!!!!!
when the balls go in the pocket they are ment to run down a ramp which is two poles however if one of the poles is missing the balls are falling to the bottom of the table. this may not be occuring however it happened to my firneds pool table. if it is open the storage shoot with the key and you should be able to see them.

They are slipping through a tear in the fabric of the space/time continuum and are now on a planet in the Delta Quadrant. This is probably why the pub landlord sold it in the first place.

I used to have a second hand table too. When I had major problem that I couldn’t fix, I approached the manager of a pub in my area – with a table and asked who the maintenance guy was. I gave him a call and he came and fixed it for me – for a good price too. What area are you?

Most likely there is something blocking the track inside the table, probably chalk. If you take the slate off of the table, you’ll be able to fix it. Theres usually metal trim around the top outside of the table that is held on by screws. Unscrew and take that off all around the table. Then you will see some bolts under that (used to hold the rails on) unscrew those so you can remove all 6 rails, then with the help of at least 1 other person because the slate is heavy, you can remove it. Hope that helps!

It sounds to me like there is a problem at the top end of the storage chute and the balls are falling into the base of the table. Unlock the side with the chute and take it out and see if you can find the balls, if they are have a look at where the chute meets at the top end to see if anything looks broken and repairable.
If it is a newish table it might be made by excel
http://www.excelpooltables.co.uk/
If it is older it more likely to be an HGM superleague
You could always e-mail the guys at excel to if they know an easy mend once you identify the problem
